Dario Matrundola

Airline Transport Pilot · Class 1 Flight Instructor · Transport Canada Flight Test Examiner

Dario Matrundola is a licensed commercial pilot with over 30 years of experience in flight training and aviation management. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) and Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating, the highest level of instructor certification, authorizing him to train pilots to become instructors.
Dario founded the Flight Dispatcher program in 1998 and has delivered it for York University and numerous Canadian airlines and organizations. His work has helped shape one of Canada’s longest-running dispatcher training pathways, built on consistency, professionalism, and real operational relevance.
In addition to teaching, Dario serves as a Transport Canada Flight Test Examiner, conducting official flight tests for pilot licensing candidates. He is also a Radio Operator Certificate Examiner through Industry Canada.

Samad Kadri

Air Canada Boeing 787 Pilot · Class 1 Flight Instructor

Samad Kadri is an airline pilot with over 7,000 flight hours and a strong background in airline operations and professional instruction. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), a Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Technology.
Sam currently flies the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for Air Canada, and previously operated the Airbus A320 and Airbus A220, giving students real insight into modern airline operations, dispatch coordination, and how flight crews rely on strong ground support.
Sam joined Dario in delivering the Flight Dispatcher Program in 2013 and has played a crucial role in redesigning, modernizing, and managing the course since then, keeping it aligned with Transport Canada exam expectations.
