No. The program is delivered entirely through in-class instruction in Markham, Ontario. Yes. The course is beginner-friendly and designed for individuals with no previous aviation or dispatch experience. 3. Does the course fee include the study kit?
Course materials and study support resources are generally included as part of the training program. 4. Are the FDOPS and FDMET examinations included in the course fee?
Transport Canada dispatcher examinations have no fee.
5. Is accommodation provided for out-of-town students?
Accommodation is not included directly with the program. Students travelling from outside the Greater Toronto Area can search for accommodation themselves, close to our classroom location at 75 Tiverton Court.
We do have some student discounts at Monte Carlo Inn close to our training location (15 min walk or 3 min drive). Rates typically range from 120-200/night.
6. Is this course suitable for international students?
We only accept international students who already possess a visa for Canada (visit visa, study permit, work permit).
If you are already in Canada or have the means to come to Canada yourself, you are welcome to join the course.
7. What happens after completing the course?
After completing the program, students may continue preparing for Transport Canada flight dispatcher examinations and explore operational aviation pathways related to dispatch coordination, airline operational support, flight following, crew scheduling assistance, and related airline operations environments.
