Course Structure — What You Will Learn
The Flight Dispatcher Training program is delivered over 7 days of focused classroom instruction, structured to build your knowledge logically and efficiently.
You will cover:
Meteorology (Days 1–3): In-depth study of aviation weather principles and operational decision-making.
Rest & Review – No class (Day 4): A dedicated day for consolidation, self-study, and review before operations training.
Flight Operations (Days 5–7): Operational flight planning, airline dispatch procedures, fuel planning, aircraft performance, and real-world scenarios.
Class hours are typically 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a lunch break and short breaks throughout the day.
Instruction & Classroom Experience
You’ll train with experienced aviation professionals and flight crews who bring real operational knowledge into the classroom. During the course, you’ll also hear from a guest speaker, a working Flight Dispatcher, who shares practical insights about daily duties, industry expectations, and career experience.
This combination of structured content and real-world perspective sets you up for both Transport Canada exam readiness and operational awareness.
