This page explains what international students should know before registering, including travel requirements, course format, and how to plan your training week successfully.

Can International Students Take This Course?

es. International students may register and attend the Flight Dispatcher Training program as long as they have a valid passport and legal permission to enter Canada.

This course is delivered in-person in Markham, Ontario, and students are responsible for arranging their own travel and entry documents.

Important: We do not provide immigration or visa services. Entry eligibility is determined by the Government of Canada

Who This Course Is For International Students

This course is a strong fit if you are:

  • Planning to build a foundation in Flight Dispatch / Airline Operations
  • preparing for the Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher exams
  • Looking for structured aviation training in Canada
  • exploring long-term aviation career pathways

No previous aviation experience is required. Many students begin with zero background and learn step-by-step.

We rarely have international students attending our course, but they are most welcome, provided they have a valid visa status already OR are citizens of a country that allows visa-on-arrival.

Course Format

This is an intensive classroom-based program delivered over 7 days.

You will study:

  • aviation meteorology
  • flight operations and dispatch procedures
  • real-world operational scenarios
  • Transport Canada exam preparation guidance

Location: Markham, Ontario (GTA)
Typical daily hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Transport Canada Exams For International Students

Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher exams are written separately from the course. After completing training, students may:

  • write the exams at a Transport Canada Exam Centre, or
  • write on select days at our Markham location (subject to availability)

We guide students through the exam process, including how to request a Transport Canada File Number and how booking works.

Travel Planning

For international students, we strongly recommend:

  • arriving in Canada at least 1 day before the course begins
  • booking accommodation near the training location
  • planning a calm, quiet setup for evening review and rest
  • booking your return travel for the day after the course ends

This course is intensive. Good travel planning makes a major difference in your learning performance.

What You Need Before Registering

To attend as an international student, you should have:

  • a valid passport
  • legal permission to enter Canada (visa or eTA, depending on your nationality)
  • the ability to attend all 7 days in person
  • a reliable email address and phone number for communication

Payment Options for International Students

Payment options will be provided after registration submission and seat confirmation.

Common payment methods include:

  • Credit Card
  • Interac e-Transfer (available for students with Canadian banking access)

If you are paying from outside Canada and need assistance choosing the best payment option, our team can guide you after registration.
